New Year... New Attitude

A New Year... A New Attitude

Did you know that only 8% of people achieve their New Years Resolution? This alone should be motivation to break the norm, but why do we give up so easily?

Lack of commitment?

If you’re struggling to even embark on your resolution and have given up at the first hurdle, remember the reasons why you chose your 2016 promise and if you forget to remember… write it down! Keep a note at your desk or next to your bed so you have a daily reminder and daily motivation to fulfil your resolution.

Excuses?

The most common excuse … I didn’t have time!

The most common answer… make time!

As it’s impossible to make time, it is important to understand there is always enough time. This resolution is your personal goal and there is no right or wrong time to achieve it in, the only rule is that you stick to it!

Always appreciate that little is better than nothing; after all, slow and steady wins the race.

Taken for granted?

Continuing with appreciation, persistently appreciate yourself. For each month, week, day, hour, minute, second that you’re committed, you’re achieving. Since achievements deserve recognition…congratulate you! How you do it doesn’t matter, say it out loud or pat yourself on the back, but always acknowledge your success.

So stay focused, reiterate all of the above points and as cliché as this may sound, truly believe in you and believe in your 2016.
